Design Story

The body reads deep racing red; the sleeves shift to a pale cream, and that contrast does the work of framing the torso like a canvas. A green-white-red vertical band runs from collar to hem on the right chest, splitting the front panel and giving the eye a clear path downward. Against it sits the yellow shield with the rearing horse and the letters S F \Uffffffff the brightest value in the whole field, and therefore the anchor. Left of centre, restrained typography stacks in quiet order: SCUDERIA FERRARI, MARANELLO ITALY, then FOUNDED 1929 and FIRST TEAM ENTRY 1950. Sleeve lettering repeats the year in smaller scale. Text as archive, not decoration.

Layering & Wear

On outerwear this composition behaves well. The colour-block division follows the shoulder and sleeve line rather than fighting it, so the silhouette stays legible from across a room. Striped collar and cuff bands close the frame; the vertical stripe keeps the front-panel graphic from spreading.
