Design Story

The composition is classic varsity logic, handled with restraint. A deep purple body sits against darker sleeves, and that colour block does the structural work: it narrows the torso, lengthens the arm and pushes the eye straight to the chest. The gold script wordmark and ball motif land at the natural focal point, balanced on the opposite panel by a circular championship badge and a small rectangular arena tag. Ribbed collar, cuffs and hem repeat the gold striping, framing the silhouette top and bottom so the graphic never floats. Negative space on the lower body keeps the hierarchy legible from across a court.

Layering & Wear

As a jacket, the artwork reads in panels rather than as one flat print. The front-panel graphic sits where a layering piece is actually seen, the sleeve badge adds interest in profile, and the tonal contrast holds up over a plain white tee and dark trousers. Wear it open for asymmetry, closed for a cleaner block.
