Design Story

The typography sits at the top of the round format in a serif with tall, tapered strokes, anchored by a thin rule and a small ornamental flourish above and below. Beneath it, a carved-looking scene fills the disc: an arched wooden door half open, a horned silhouette standing in the ember glow, gargoyles perched on stone pillars, lanterns burning low on either side, and jack-o'-lanterns resting on cracked stone steps. A pale moon and bare branches occupy the upper right, with bats reading as small dark punctuation against the grey sky. The palette stays restrained - charcoal stone, cold slate blue, and one channel of amber that does all the emotional work. Ivy and fallen leaves soften the outer edge so the border feels grown-into rather than cut.
