Design Story

The surface reads in three horizontal registers. Type occupies the upper zone, with GREEN BAY set small above PACKERS in heavy condensed lettering, establishing hierarchy through scale alone. Beneath it sits the oval emblem, the brightest value in the entire field, which pulls the eye first and holds it. Below, a stadium view rendered in cool green and low light recedes into depth, its LAMBEAU FIELD caption whisper-quiet against the banner reading EST. 1919. Gold scrollwork frames all of it, dense at the corners, thinning toward the centre so the ornament never competes with the emblem. Four footballs anchor the corners like weights. The deep green ground gives the metallic linework room to breathe, and the layered gold border closes the composition without tightening it.

As a rug, the centred medallion structure suits an open floor area where the emblem stays visible between furniture. Viewed from standing height, the ornamental border defines the edge and the artwork anchors the room as a single statement surface.
