Design Story

This is a symmetrical, centered composition built like a commemorative plaque. Arched lettering reads PITTSBURGH STEELERS in gold at the top; a banner near the base reads EST. 1933. Between them sits an engraved-looking stadium bowl, framed by a faint city skyline that fades into the charcoal ground. Two footballs anchor the lower corners, and scrolling gold filigree runs the full border, tightening the edges and holding the darker field in place. The palette stays disciplined: black, warm gold, and small hits of red and blue. Nothing moves, and that stillness is the point. It reads as archive, not action.

Room & Styling

As a rug, the scale works in its favour. The central emblem stays legible from standing height, while the border detail rewards a closer look.
