A composition built from blocks rather than gestures. Crimson, black, white and gold meet along hard diagonal seams, and the eye moves across the upper the way it moves across a flag: by field, not by detail.

Design Story

The side panel carries the weight. A black banner cuts the crimson field at a slight rise, holding the words CRIMSON TIDE in narrow gold capitals, framed by thin gold rules that behave like a border on a printed plate. Behind it, a textured crimson surface is punctuated by small perforation clusters, a quiet grain that keeps the large colour field from flattening. The heel answers with a single script monogram in gold, isolated against black — restraint after statement. The toe box returns to crimson, the midfoot to white, and gold trim runs as a thin connective line through all of it. Both shoes mirror each other, so the pair reads as one balanced spread.

Wear & Styling

On a low top sneaker silhouette, this hierarchy works because the panel seams already divide the surface. The white sole acts as negative space beneath the saturated upper, and the white laces repeat that interval upward, keeping the graphic from closing in. Worn casually, the heel monogram and side banner remain the two points the eye finds first.
