Design Story

The focal panel is a circular medallion: the mascot mid-lean, pipe in mouth, cane grounded, spinning a red ball with easy confidence. Cream negative space inside the ring gives the figure air, while the green outer band carries the BOSTON CELTICS lettering in clean capitals. Around it, a sculpted-looking field of shamrocks, knotwork scrolls and faceted green accents fills the vertical body, with a banded lower register of small emblem tiles closing the composition. Silver-toned relief against deep emerald keeps the tonal contrast controlled \Uffffffff decorative, but never noisy.

Use & Experience

Vertical proportion does the work here. The medallion sits at eye level on the tumbler's front face, ornament tapering above and below so the hierarchy stays obvious from across a room. The handle side is left comparatively quiet, which keeps the focal panel forward when carried. Statement level: high, but composed.
