A cover built like a varsity jacket panel: layered reds, deep black, cream and brushed gold, all locked into one confident composition.

Design Story

The hierarchy is deliberate. Collegiate block lettering carries the top third, offset by a loose brush script beneath it. The oval emblem anchors the right side as the dominant motif, scaled large enough to read from across a room, while the bulldog crest sits lower left as a secondary focal point so the eye travels diagonally rather than stalling. Angled red and gold strokes behind the type act as directional rhythm, and small typographic details sit calmly in the margins. Nothing is in motion here. It is a posed, tonal, heritage-led graphic.

Display & Styling

On a spiral-bound wall calendar the format works in its favour: the cover reads as a framed graphic panel, then each monthly artwork sits above the date grid, where the saturated field keeps the imagery separate from the numbers below. At eye level in an office, dorm or kitchen it behaves like year-round decor that still answers a date question.
